Hurry Up and Wait!

If you've been a Christian for any length of time, you know what it means to wait on God. God's ways are not our ways and His timing is often not our timing. But what if you waited on God your entire life without hearing from Him? And your kids and their kids and their kids keep waiting, but still no word from God. Centuries have gone by and things are getting worse, not better. You and your people are enslaved by a cruel dictator, who is making life miserable. Then, to make matters worse, he orders that all of your male babies be slaughtered. That is the situation when the Book of Exodus opens.
